These Terms and Conditions govern your use of kentreadymix.co.uk (the “website”), operated by Astute Management, trading as Kent Readymix (“Kent Readymix”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

What Kent Readymix does

Kent Readymix operates a website that generates ready-mix concrete enquiries across Kent and Medway and passes them to approved concrete suppliers. Kent Readymix is not a concrete producer, supplier or haulier. We do not batch, mix, deliver or price concrete, and we are not a party to any contract for the supply of concrete or its delivery.

When you submit an enquiry through this website, by WhatsApp or by email, we pass the details you provide to one approved supplier operating in the area you have described. That supplier contacts you directly to confirm the mix, the volume and the delivery window, and to agree a quotation. Any contract for the supply and delivery of concrete is between you and that supplier, on that supplier’s own terms, not on these terms. Submitting an enquiry does not require you to appoint the approved supplier we introduce you to, and you are free to obtain quotations elsewhere.

Enquiries and estimates

Any volume figure, mix suggestion or delivery guidance shown on this website, including any figure produced by a concrete volume calculator, is provided as a general estimate to help you describe your pour. It is not a specification, a quotation or a substitute for the advice of a structural engineer where the pour is structural or load-bearing. Your approved supplier confirms the final mix, volume and price for your specific pour before any order is placed.

No page on this website states or should be read as stating a guaranteed delivery time. Delivery windows depend on factors outside our control, including plant location, vehicle availability and the orders ahead of yours, and are confirmed by the approved supplier appointed to your enquiry.

Our approved suppliers

We do not select approved suppliers at random. The suppliers we introduce are established local concrete businesses we work closely with, in many cases through prior commercial relationships built up over time. That means we already have a detailed understanding of how they operate, the quality of their work and how they treat their customers. Our recommendations are based on genuine, long-standing commercial relationships and first-hand experience, not on a directory listing or a paid placement.

The approved suppliers we work with are insured and appropriately equipped for the concrete supply and delivery work they take on. You remain free to satisfy yourself as to any supplier’s insurance, certification and suitability for your pour before agreeing to anything (see our Disclaimer for what we do not warrant on this point), and you should read the terms a supplier offers you before placing an order.

Our knowledge of an approved supplier is not itself a guarantee of any particular pour, and it does not make Kent Readymix a party to the contract between you and that supplier.

Use of the website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this website by any third party. You must not misuse the website by knowingly introducing viruses or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server on which it is hosted, or any server, computer or database connected to it.

Third-party suppliers

Approved suppliers are independent businesses. Kent Readymix does not employ, control or supervise approved suppliers, and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any approved supplier, including the quality of concrete supplied, the accuracy of any quotation given, or the timing of any delivery. Any dispute about the supply or delivery of concrete is a matter between you and the supplier concerned.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kent Readymix excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on any content, estimate or guidance published on it, and for any act, omission, product or service of an approved supplier. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
