This Disclaimer should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. It sets out plainly what Kent Readymix does and does not do.

Kent Readymix is an intermediary

Kent Readymix generates ready-mix concrete enquiries across Kent and Medway and passes them to approved concrete suppliers. We do not supply, batch, mix, deliver or price concrete ourselves, and Astute Management, trading as Kent Readymix, holds no concrete production or supply certification of any kind. Nothing on this website should be read as a claim that Kent Readymix manufactures, supplies or delivers concrete.

Your contract is with the approved supplier, not with us

Once you submit an enquiry, an approved supplier operating in your area contacts you directly. Your quotation, delivery and payment are agreed between you and that supplier, on that supplier’s own terms. Kent Readymix is not a party to that agreement and accepts no liability for its performance.

Estimates are estimates, not a specification

Any volume figure produced by the concrete volume calculator, or referred to anywhere on this website, is a general estimate intended to help you describe your pour. It is not a structural specification and is not a substitute for the advice of a qualified structural engineer where the pour is load-bearing, structural, or otherwise requires a designed mix. Where a specification exists, whether from an engineer, an architect or building control, that specification governs, not any estimate on this website. Actual volumes on site commonly differ from a calculated figure because of ground conditions, formwork tolerances and other on-site factors, and your approved supplier will advise on the allowance appropriate to your pour.

No delivery time is guaranteed

Nothing on this website states or implies a guaranteed delivery time. Concrete has a limited working life between batching and discharge, and delivery windows depend on factors including plant location, vehicle and pump availability, site access and the orders scheduled ahead of yours. Any delivery window, including any reference to next-day delivery, is confirmed by the approved supplier appointed to your enquiry and reflects that supplier’s own operational capacity, not a commitment made by Kent Readymix.

We do not warrant any supplier’s certification, insurance or trading status

Kent Readymix does not verify, warrant or guarantee the certification, accreditation, insurance position or trading status of any approved supplier, and no approved supplier’s certification has been independently checked by Kent Readymix. Where certification is relevant to your order, for example third-party product conformity certification for a designated concrete under BS 8500, confirm it directly with the supplier before your order is placed and, where it matters to your project, ask for it to be recorded on the delivery ticket.
