Why the walled centre is not a driveway market

Where something does come up it is a small courtyard or threshold pour, and it is a mini-mix or line pump job planned around the loading window rather than a driveway in any normal sense.
Outside the walls the ordinary rules apply. The vehicle stands at the kerb, the drive is discharged from the road and worked back from the far end, and the only question left is whether that far end sits beyond a chute. On a fringe plot with a garage at the rear it usually does, and a barrow run or a line pump covers it.
