Roofers in Medway

Five towns along the tidal river make up Medway, and roofing conditions change noticeably across them. The dockyard towns brought street after street of Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, much of it built on slopes and much of it sharing valleys, gutter runs and chimney stacks between neighbours. Historic Rochester adds a conservation area of Georgian and earlier buildings where both materials and consent matter. Beyond the built-up area the Hoo peninsula is low, open marshland facing the Thames and the Medway estuary, and wind exposure there is on a different scale from anything in the town centres.
