Flashing kits are specific to the covering. A kit made for slate used on a deep-profile tile will not seal, and cutting the surrounding tiles badly around the frame causes the same problem. The correct kit for your covering is fitted and the roof dressed into it properly.

Conservation models sit flush with the roof plane and are usually what is required on listed property or in a conservation area. Most installations are permitted development, but that changes on a principal elevation or a listed building, which is worth establishing before anything is ordered.
